The Lincoln Group of D.C. always has a healthy turnout for the Lincoln Forum, whose three-day symposium in Gettysburg, Pa., is always held on November 16-18, ending one day before the anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's 1863 Gettysburg Address.
But this year was a special one at the forum for the Lincoln Group, which received the Wendy Allen Award, given annually to an organization that excels in educating people about Lincoln's ideals and vision.
After the group won the award on the evening of November 17, a swarm of members gathered in the lobby area of the Wyndham Gettysburg hotel for a group photo. We think we corralled most of the group members who attended the forum, but some may have missed the photo.
And we think we identified everyone in this group shot. Taking a group shot has become something of a Lincoln Group tradition at the forum, and we look forward to doing it again next November!
