Join Us on September 22 to Honor Lincoln the Emancipator

The Lincoln Group is honored to have been asked to chair the committee putting together this free, outdoor public event. The dedication of this poignant statue is the opening event leading up to the reopening of the African American Civil War Museum in Washington on November 11 after reconstruction, renovation, and expansion.

The September 22 event will feature music, Civil War re-enactors, speakers, a reading of the Emancipation Proclamation, and light refreshments. All Lincoln Group members who can make it shouldn't miss this moment as we honor Lincoln.
