Lincoln in New England: In Search of His Forgotten Tours - The Videos

In recognition of the release day of the Lincoln Group of DC Immediate Past President David J. Kent's new book, Lincoln in New England: In Search of His Forgotten Tours, David have begun posting a series of short videos about Lincoln and the New England states.
Each video is less than ten minutes in length and covers Lincoln's connections to one state per video. There is info about Lincoln's visits (if any) and tidbits about key people from each state. For example, we all know Lincoln's first vice president, Hannibal Hamlin, was from Maine, but did you know so were Elijah Lovejoy and Leonard Swett? Did you remember that Lincoln's constant foil, Stephen A. Douglas, was actually from Vermont? Or that Lincoln got his first taste of hard-core abolitionism on his visit to the Bay State?
As of this writing, the first two state videos are live on YouTube, and the rest will follow on a daily basis. You can follow David's YouTube channel for more videos, including an archive of some of the past speaker talks given at the Lincoln Group of DC.
