The Great Debate. A Special Audience Participation Event

The Lincoln Group has asked two of our brightest lights to take on the question historians have long posed: "As president, was Lincoln a cautious or an audacious leader?" Ed Epstein will argue for "cautious," and Richard Margolies for "audacious," in a debate format. Epstein is a seasoned journalist who has often critiqued leadership performance by public figures.  He has studied and presented on Lincoln's bete noir, Stephen Douglas. Margolies has enjoyed a career advising governments and private organizations on improving their leadership initiatives. Richard has just produced a very successful conference on Visioning a Better America, stressing principles and values that Lincoln would endorse.  Their analyses will be pointed and you will be invited to join the discussion.  Details in Sept. 28 News post.
