Class Session 4, The Legacy of Abraham Lincoln

Jan 27, 2022, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

About the Event

The most lasting accomplishments attributed to Lincoln are preservation of the Union, vindication of democracy, and the end of slavery; all accomplished in a way that set an expectation for future statesmen for public communication and behavior. It is a legacy of both substance and style.  O'Brien will review key documents in Lincoln's career that reveal how he built his capacity to lead and create his enduring reputation.  This is the last of the Lincoln Group's four session series to present the full scope of Lincoln's remarkable life.  Questions and discussion will take place after the presentation.
