About the Event
The Lincoln Group of DC presents Ed Steers in the first of four classes summarizing the life and legacy of Abraham Lincoln. Ed will recount the Lincoln family's pioneer migration from Abe's birth in Kentucky to his emancipaton and early career in New Salem, Illinois. This will lay the foundation for ensuing classes on how Lincoln achieved prominence on his way to becoming the Savior of the Nation and the Great Emancipator. Discussion and your questions will follow the presentation.
